Had an amp for a Sunfire True Subwoofer Signature repaired. It now sounds better than new with the replaced / upgraded components. Turn around time was reasonable as well. Will use their service again when the time comes to have the amp for my other subwoofer repaired. Highly recommended.

My GFA 555 sounds great. One channel stopped working and now it’s back to its former glory. Reasonable price, wait time was a little long but I know EBC is booked solid. Extended warranty is a big plus for 50 dollars. I highly recommend.

I needed service on my 50+ year old Sony TC-366 reel to reel to finally listen to some irreplaceable tapes of the cover band I was in way back in college in the 70’s. I contacted EBC and Paul responded quickly that he could do the work. He explained what the problem likely was and said I would hear back shortly. About a week later I received his estimate (very fair) and approved the repair. I was able to pick up the repaired unit two days later. I have played the unit for several hours and tested the basic functions thoroughly. I am very happy with his work and will not hesitate to do business with Paul again.

I brought in my vintage Marantz with multiple issues, a few I wasn't even aware of... and he returned it to the awesome receiver that it used to be! My Adcom GFA 555II needed a big repair, it made loud noises when shut off or turned on. I sent my amp to Paul at EBC Electronics for the repair. In under a month the amp was fixed and cleaned and sent back to me.My amp is perfectly quiet when turned on and shut off, no noise at all.Ive never been happier with a repair, ever!!! After I fried my Marantz SR7005 I did a search to find someone to repair it for me. I was very impressed with all the positive reviews and also am very fortunate to be located nearby, so it seemed like a no-brainer to call Paul. I can say that he lives up to the hype completely. I think that this was a fairly routine job for him but I am impressed with the professionalism and pleasantly surprised by the price. Plus he got the job done in les than a week, so I truly couldn't be happier. Thanks Paul! Sent my Sunfire SD10 sub in for repair in early February 2025. Sub would power on but no sound. Just received it back June 3rd. Took longer than anticipated for repair but once I hooked it up works like new! Great sounding bass. I’m really pleased with the work EB Electronics did for me. Well worth the wait and very fair on the cost to repair. I know they are very busy but would highly recommend EB Electronics and would use them again.

This sub had been sitting for about a year, after disconnecting it with a constant loud hum, as I searched for a replacement. A colleague of mine mentioned that he just had his sub repaired by EBC, so I sent mine in as soon as time opened up. I was able to keep up with the status of the repair through the site. I received my repaired unit and immediately tested it out.... and its back to new. Thank you for the repair and for also upgrading some of the components that are also known to fail. I sent my Sunfire Mk IV subwoofer to EBC as they were on of the only options for Sunfire sub repair in the US, and they had good reviews. I received the unit back yesterday and it seems in good working order, so much appreciated. Now for the negative: Website stated up to 6 weeks repair time, mine took 10ish. It did have an intermittent issue that probably necessitated the longer time, which leads me to my biggest frustration. There was no communication from EBC that they needed mine longer. I emailed the company using the Email Us link at the bottom of the page 3 separate times with no replies at all. First time was prior to submitting the unit, and then once near the 6 week time frame, which was supposed to be the max, and then again at about 10 weeks. Again, I got no replies to any of these emails. Not sure if the email system is broken, or he just does not like email, but very frustrating.

My preamplifier was intermittently turning itself off. This was diagnosed as a power-supply problem, requiring replacing a bridge rectifier and voltage regulator. Repair was done in about 2 weeks for a reasonable price. EBC Electronics is highly recommended.

My Sunfire True Signature 13" sub-woofer was hit by a large power surge due to a lightning strike to a pine tree several hundred yards away. It immediately started outputting a high decibel 60 hertz hum. There was no physical evidence of damage on a visual inspection of the electronics. I forwarded the damaged electronics boards to EBC for repair. The repaired electronics was returned to me within six weeks in perfect working order. The whole process was outstanding! I highly recommended EBC Electronics.

After reinstalling the repaired amplifier plate in my Velodyne CT-120 subwoofer, the unit is again performing like new. The repair time was only about 6 weeks. There is nothing I can complain about. My compliments to you for your excellent technical skills and service. Thank you!

I had meet Paul, very nice guy and great tech. He told me the board for my Velodyne subwoofer could take 12 weeks to fix. Two weeks later I received email saying it was ready to pick up. I picked it up, went home and reinstalled it into the speaker unit. Turned it on, it worked like new. I highly recommend EBC Electronics for anyone who wants their expensive electronics to be repaired like new. I will be using EBC for all my boards in the future.

Paul rebuilt the plate amplifier for my Velodyne SPL Series 2 sub within the promised timeframe. Return shipping was fast and the amp was packed well enough to resist UPS’ best efforts to crush it, too. As far as the performance of the rebuilt amp, well, it is like new if not better. I’ll gladly use EBC’s services again in the future!

2 Verlodyne dls mailed September got both back in December not a bad turnaround time. Just 6 months after, one of the subwoofer stopped working and offcourse out of the 90 day warranty but I guess thats just my luck.

EBC brought my Velodyne FSR-18 subwoofer back to life. The plate amp had been shot for years with dried out capacitors. So glad I found this service. It was a small price to pay to get such an awesome subwoofer sounding and pounding like new again. I couldn't be happier with the service and result Paul at EBC provided.

This is the second time Paul fixed my velodyne amp for separate issues. Received it back and immediately noticed no more humming but further more didn’t realize it wasn’t packing the same punch as it used to. It sounds so much better than when I sent it off. I dropped off my Pioneer SA 9100 stereo amplifier to "Paul", of EBC, because the right channel was not working. After picking up the serviced unit about 2 weeks later, I immediately connected it up to all my other components in my stereo system, and SO FAR, its been playing great for about 3 hours now. I have my parents vintage 1960 Fisher Electra IV console AM/FM stereo with turntable. I grew up playing my albums on it. My mom let me have it and when one channel went out I was afraid I couldnt find anyone to repair it. I found EBC Electronics, Called Paul and told him my issue. He said he could repair it. I took the amp and tuner sections out, boxed them up and sent them off to EBC. Now he did say on his site that he was slammed with repairs. Got an email with the problems and cost to fix. I just received them back, Installed them but the FM didnt work, Called Paul and he said to check the tubes, so I wiggled the Tubes and Now works just like it did but without the Humming noise it had before and both channels are working Great. It does take some time but when you can find someone that can repair vintage equipment you got to wait for good work, but I was in no hurry and got them back to New! When I first found your website I was very skeptical about sending my prized Akai GX 635D reel deck to it and I figured it would be the last time I would see it. Then I didn't get much of a response about the repairs that it needed and I was really starting to get worried. I got my unit back last week and put it through its paces and I'm very impressed by the work that Paul did on my equipment considering I bought this deck in 1981 so it has seen its share of use and I must say that EBC did an excellent job repairing this deck and I was concerned about it needlessly. Kudos to all who were involved and you guys did a fantastic job. I can't thank you enough.

Not fixed. The ADCOM GFP-750's 'L' and 'R' balance is still not balanced when the balance control is in the center position while the 'ACTIVE MODE' is on. I sent in my GFP-750 preamp to have this repaired. Waited four months for repair. Rec'd back and it still is not working properly. In 'Passive' mode the balance circuit is by-passed so it seems to work fine, but not in 'Active' mode. Never received any response or reply by email or phone regarding the issue. Would not recommend this service provider to others.
Answer by Paul: This unit had bad volume control. Its motorized quad pot. This part is no longer available. We had overhauled that pot, replaced some gangs and match as best as we can.

Paul repaired my Adcom 5802 amp that had a very large problem on the left channel output board. I bought this amp used and it did not run very long. Paul found out that another repair shop had worked on it, and almost destroyed it from all the un-matched MOSFETs they installed in it. I found Paul's EBC repair site and I thought I would give him a chance to repair it. When you start looking around for shops to repair an Adcom 5802 which is an all MOSFET controled amp, and all the circuits are all matched MOSFET's I found out no one wants to work on them. After a long searce on the internet I found only two or three places that would even consider working on it, but first you must send the amp to them, which is very heavy, and they want to look at the amp before they will tell you if they would finish the repair. Paul took the amp no problem. Paul Is a very busy guy, usually 6 weeks out, I waited then put my request for repair, he gave me a repair number right away. Well this amp runs better than the other Adcom 5802 amps I have. So if you have an Adcom or something you want to save, send it to Paul. Some parts I am sure are hard to find for this amp is 20 some years old, so it might take some time, but never fail Paul will fix it as good as new, don't give up on the amp or what ever you have, send it to Paul.

Yay, just got my Velodyne DLS5000R back from Paul and it's working perfectly, thank you! It took less time than anticipated to repair and Paul took the time to answer my questions. If I need repairs to my audio equipment in the future, EBC Electronics will be my first choice.

Paul did an Amazing job fixing my Velodyne HGS 15, the sub sounds incredible and also seems to have a higher Wattage out put. he will get the job done right, I would only trust him fixing a complicated sub or any high end amplifier at that. Thank you again Paul.

Paul is the absolute god of subwoofer plate amplifiers; he's fixed several for me. Paul's customer service is exceptional -- one time UPS apparently drove a truck over my amp bending its 1/4 anodized aluminum plate, so Paul pulled one out of stock and repaired it for me *at no additional charge!* He's the best.

Paul came and picked up my Akai GX 635D. My reel 2 reel had some issues which he fixed and it now sounds amazing. I highly recommend him and he now has my Akai GX 625 unit. He will be getting my vintage units when they need repairs.

My 45 year old Pioneer receiver was showing its age. Long story short, Paul replaced several aged caps and resistors as well as a thorough cleaning of all switches and contacts and it sounds GREAT!!!!! I brought my Altec-Lansing ADA880 speakers to Paul for repair. I'd had them "fixed" elsewhere, but the fuse kept blowing almost immediately when I turned them on. Paul replaced the fuse and tested the units fully. I was skeptical, since I'd changed the fuse myself numerous times. Well, the speakers have been working perfectly for several weeks now, and I'm thrilled. I particularly want to note that Paul was very honest and clear in explaining the work he did, and his repair fee was extremely reasonable. I recommend EBC Electronics very highly, and Paul will be my go-to guy any time my electronics need repair. Many thanks !

I cannot express my amount of satisfaction with the results of the service provided by this company. There are very few places that can repair this piece of equipment and the price was as reasonable as can be expected. I will give EBC electronic repair my business from now on.

I'm really disappointed with the quality of work. I heard you were the best but in my experience it hasn't shown that. Maybe simple stuff like speakers you do well but a ML amp might be too complex. The right channel of the ML is popping again and goes off again. This is like maybe 5th time used since the repair under 10 hours. REALLY disappointed.

EBC did a wonderful job repairing my Adcom 5 channel power amp. It had a bad board, which I sent out to EBC, and in several weeks, I got back a repaired factory specs board. I highly recommend their service, they are the most reasonably priced on the web and they know what their doing. The repaired board came back in about half the time they stated. I am a happy camper, and very pleased with their service, my Adcom will now play on for 20 or more years.

Now I have both my Velodynes back up and running. The neighbors hate me. Love my Velodynes. Thank you Paul!

I had a Velodyne HGS-15BG subwoofer go bad. I contacted Paul at EBC, and he said to send just the amplifier module in. It was fixed in a very reasonable amount of time, and sent back to me. The workmanship was top-notch, and it looks no different from the way it came from the factory. The note said it was repaired and all caps were replaced. I put the amp back into the sub, and it has been working well now for over a month. I am very happy with the quick responses from Paul. The amount charged was also very reasonable.

6/14/21. Just received back my circa 1979 Adcom-565 monoblock amplifier sent in for repair of a DC voltage leak creating a hum in my Klipsch Belle speaker. Paul found, as expected, leaking electrolytic caps. He completely replaced the capacitors on the preamp and and slow start boards, cleaning both. The amp is now completely quiet and sounds great, back to its matching partner's sound. If the other amp develops the similar leakage, I will not hesitate to use EBC services. Thank you.

I thought I might need to be put on a waiting list to have my 12 year old Velodyne DD-10 repaired, but Paul told me to submit a repair request and send the amplifier plate assembly to EBC to get it in the queue. You can check the repair status on line and I followed the progress weekly.I received an email about 6 weeks later (as expected with the stated turnaround time). I paid the very fair repair and shipping cost, and now my sub works perfectly again! Thanks!!

Got my Carver Signature Sub back from EBC after waiting the full 12 weeks. Initially, I was very close to trashing it and buying a new one. Problem was, trying to replace this sub with similar specs would run me about $2-3K. So before I took out the CC, I stumbled upon EBC. I knew it would be a long wait, but if I didn't at least make the attempt of having it repaired, I would always wonder if buying new was the right choice. Well I've had it now for two weeks and am blown away as to how great it sounds! I actually think it sounds better now, than it did when I bought it over 25 years ago! Folks, if you are in the same boat I was, DON"T hesitate to give EBC a chance. The wait is long but you'll quickly get over it once you get your unit back from them. AAA+++

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to let people know about Paul at EBC. I have a Sunfire True EQ Solitaire 12. It is an incredible sub that I've had for 15 years. Last week I got no sound from the sub. I went on a couple of AV forums and learned that EBC was a highly recommended repair shop. I also checked with an authorized Sunfire repair location in Illinois. The place in Illinois wanted $300-320 and I would have had to ship the sub to them. I would have been looking at roughly $400 and the earliest they could have returned it was 3-5 weeks. EBC is located 3.5 hours from my house so I drove to NJ and dropped the sub off with Paul. Paul offered to take a look at it and see if he could fix it that day to prevent me from having to drive back in a week or two. I killed a couple of hours and got a bite to eat. Paul contacted me and said he had fixed the sub and it was ready for pickup. He had to replace the input board, which had gone bad. He also chose to replace a couple of electrolytic capacitors in the power supply because he said that they have a tendency to have issues over time. Here's the best part, he only charged me $225! I offered him an extra $50 due to the time and money that he saved me, but he refused to accept it. Where in the heck are you going to find service like that in this day and age! Thanks again Paul!

It is amazing. I missed not having bass to my movie night it was so flat but having the subwoofer repaired I was Very impressed. Just needs to be louder but that is because my room is so big and the unit to small. However, I am in the process of adding a second subwoofer to take care of that problem......lol.

My first and beloved subwoofer (Velodyne HGS-18) is once again shaking the living room theater thanks to EBC! I had contacted Velodyne who did a similar plate amp repair 10 years ago, and they were willing to give it another look (quote TBD AFTER they receive and test the amp)...if I could box it up and send it to Austria (Velodyne was acquired and apparently engineering is in Austria now...). Thankfully EBC exists, and although I had to box it up and send it across the US from Oregon...I am very pleased that after the ~5 week turn around time, my completely dead sub has been returned to room shaking greatness. almost 20 year old Velodyne SPL1200 shaking the walls in my house again. It is good to have it home. it took almost the full 5 weeks that they suggested up front it could take, but I got it back before the 5 weeks was up. Price was flat fee, so I knew exactly what I was in for on that front too. And that price is eminently better than buying a new subwoofer with similar performance. looking at the board before and after, it is clear the repairs are intended to last. glue and silicone are used liberally, but not sloppily. I fully expect the vibrations of the subwoofer to have no impact on the connectivty of the compoenents.

The issue is gone- no more humming, but now the sub is super sensitive- I barely rais the volume, and the thing is rumbling like crazy. Another thing, it looks like you dropped it while fixing it- the corner of the plate was bent very badly, and the transformer wingdings also where crushed. It took me some time to straighten the plate out. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason the "Volume and phase pots replaced" was because they broke when it was dropped. In short, I won't be dealing with this place anymore!

I had bought a classe cap 2100 that went into protection mode for no reason..Paul diagnosed the problem and when a board wasn't available to replace he went through each component to find what was wrong..the amp sounds amazing now..sure it took a while to get but if your patient you will receive your equipment back in like new condition..price is very reasonable too..

I just wanted to write a very positive review about EBC electronics. Paul did an excellent job of repairing my Velodyne HGS15X plate amplifier. I purchased this subwoofer brand new in 2006, and now with no support that I was in trouble till I searched and found his website. One night when I turned it on it started thumping and hissing moving in and out on its own and I killed the power immediately did lots of research and found EBC electronics. I gave Paul a phone call, he instructed me to take photographs of the wiring and pack it up and send it out. It was a little more complicated fix which took a bit extra time but I received it back yesterday and could not be happier every single function from the remote control to the built-in crossover and everything work perfect, and the circuitboard appears absolutely no different then it would from the factory. Excellent craftsmanship, it could be sold as new if I was that kind of person.However I would like to keep it running for life as I don’t care for any of the new offerings, I was afraid I would be forced to move on but she’s alive again and behaving exactly as I had come to know, just as if the failure never happened. I sent in my Adcom GFA 565's for rebuilds last year. One of them redeveloped high and unsteady dc output voltage. I sent it back under warranty and Paul went through it again. He cleaned the input board again and changed several parts. Now the output voltage is as low as it's ever been and very stable. Thanks again to one of the only shops left that still works on this old equipment.

EBC was very professional from first contact using the form on their site; their price to fix my Sunfire Signature Mark II (purchased recently on eBay) with the RCA inputs blocked and put in new caps was really reasonable, including return shipping and they packaged it well. I had a great experience and can recommend EBC for your service needs.

My Velodyne DD12+ sub, which I bought directly from Velodyne's website in 2012, started having problems a couple years ago. Initially it stopped responding to the remote, although it continued to operate and could still be controlled using the knobs on the front panel. Eventually it got to where, even after power-cycling, it would get stuck displaying "P3" on the front panel and wouldn't operate at all. Turns out this is a classic failure of the DD/DD+ line of Velodyne subs (google it). Before they went out of business, Velodyne would fix this failure by replacing the plate amp (at a cost of $800-$1200 if out of warranty), but with Velodyne now gone I thought I was out of luck. Then I stumbled across EBC, who repaired my plate amp at their flat rate. My sub works like new again, and I am thrilled! Fair warning: EBC's stated turn-around time was 4 weeks at the time I sent them my amp, whereas my repair took over 12 weeks with zero status updates until the job was finished. So maybe don't expect a quick turnaround, but do know that you can expect quality work once they get to your repair.

My 45 year old Sansui AU-6600 went from humming to singing after Paul repaired the power board and replaced all small electrolytic caps. I was given this treasure from the original purchaser, and now I know how it must have sounded when new, back in 1975! I cannot have been more pleased with this repair!

Two and a half months after repairing my Acoustic Research AR1 sub-woofer amp, it's thumping merrily away and not missing a beat. After CM Tech Support stopped servicing AR products, it seemed like the end of the line. Fortunately, EBC Electronics was up to task with Bob Carver's Sunfire Technology. EBC did a fantastic job of not only the repair, but also replacing original electrolytic capacitors that could create future problems. The amp was returned carefully and expertly packaged to protect from shipping damage. Attention to detail was evident throughout this entire transaction. Sent unit back for repair for the second time when it failed after four months, sent three emails and one phone call and nobody ever returned my messages. I sent in both of my GFA 565's to be serviced. They wound up requiring more work than I expected. EBC totally went through both of them changing all capacitors, some of the transistors, and got both amps back to as good (probably better) as new. They leave no rock unturned with their testing! I received them today and played several test records. They function and play exactly as they should now. I highly recommend EBC. Thanks guys!

Sent a Sunfire true subwoofer mkii and a Sunfire hrs-8 for repairs to my local Electronics repair shop they kept my equipment for over a month and charged me a $60 bench fee to look at the subs and couldn't repair then, so I called Sunfire, they recommended EBC Electronics. Wow. What a great result!! My Velodyne DD15 sub would power on but not produce sound. I took it to the Velodyne authorized service agent here in Melbourne Australia. Paid AU$99 to have it looked at, and was told the unit was no longer supported. My only option was to stump up AU$6800 for a new Velodyne model DD15 Plus. To say I was more than a little bit disappointed would be an understatement. I listed the unit on eBay for repair or parts at a fraction of the price it was worth. A kind man messaged me (Thanks John) and told me about EBC Electronics. I figured I had little to lose, so posted off the plate amplifier to them for repair. After approx. 5 weeks the unit was back and it works like new again. It cost around AU$500 including all the international postage. I'm just sorry I didn't have them repair my Velodyne SPL1200 Ultra sub when it too failed not long ago. It cost around AU$1000 to simply swap out the plate amplifier. No effort appeared to be made to locate and replace the faulty part. Well done EBC Electronics!! You Guys rock!!!

I have a Sunfire Super True Junior subwoofer that is the perfect fit for my small living room. When it failed, I was afraid it was all over. The unit has been discontinued a long time. I found EBC through some audio forums, and sent my subwoofer to them. In just a couple of weeks, it's back, and literally better than ever. Not only did they repair what had failed, they upgraded components beyond the factory spec. I'm thrilled! Hope I never have to use them again - but I would in a heartbeat.

They fixed my Velodyne SPL-12BG2. It was making a popping sound like it did several years ago. Back then Velodyne repaired it for me. Now Velodyne will not even reply to an email I sent them. This repair time was a little on the slow side but I did send it during the Christmas period. Paul repaired a Sunfire Ture Subwoofer Signature amplifier for me. The sub was repaired previously by EBC and worked great for about 10months before exhibiting an intermittent problem/failure. I sent the unit back to EBC and after some time they were able to replicate the problem and make the repair. The first and second repairs were of different issues and both are commonly known problems with these units. Paul stood behind his warranty and had the diligence to keep working on it until he found the problem. The only issue I have is that EBC must have been discovered by many others as they seem to be backlogged with work. My first repair took 1 week and the second several weeks. Be patient and one will receive great quality work!

Adcom GTP-400 repaired and returned between Dec 5 and19. Excellent service and turnaround.

I received my amplifier unit back on March 18th. The metal frame on the amplifier is bent. It was not bent when shipped to you. This is making installation of the unit into the space on the back of the subwoofer problematic. It will not screw down flat into the space provided for it. The bent section of the frame sticks up. Please advise. thank you

I have an Adcom 7607 amplifer that was making a very loud popping sound when turned on and 2 of the channels were not working. Looked locally for a repair shop and could find anyone that could repair my amp. Ithought all was lost until I came across EBC Electronic. I wasnt sure about send my amplifer out until I saw all the wonderful feedbacks. I took a chance and shipped my amp out and boy am I glad I did. Paul and his crew did a wonderful job of repairing my amp it sounds better than ever. Had a bad power supply and protection circuits. For an extra charge had all channels small capacitors upgraded as well. Im so glad I sent my amp out to get fixed. I know were I will be sending all future repairs too. Kudos to EBC again!!! I possess a fairly high end but dated surround sound home theater system where during the last 2 years three powered components have gone into failure mode. First a Marantz SR-18 blew an output channel, then each of my two Sunfire subwoofers developed the dreaded 60HZ hum/non shutdown mode. Paul's knowledge and willingness to understand the the root causes of these failure modes coupled with his excellent repair workmanship is the reason I have returned to EBC each time. My Velodyne SPL-1000 stopped working a few years ago. I could not find anyone that would fix it with Velodyne out of business. We found EBC who said they could repair the unit. Received repaired sub amplifier back yesterday newly repaired. I immediately noticed the obvious repair quality. Reconnected everything and fired it up. I have a Sunfire SuperJunior sub that was continuously humming and was working very poorly. EBC electronics was recommended by Sunfire as a place to get excellent workmanship and repairs on their products they no longer repair. The process was quite simple to send the circuit board to EBC and receive the repaired item back. My sub works really well- in fact, I think it works just like it did the day I installed the sub in my home. I would highly recommend EBC for their excellent work.

Hello everyone, my DD12 got a second life. Paul is amazing, the case was very difficult but Paul and his team did not give up. My Sub plays as if it was just bought a new one. I highly recommend this company to all, its professionalism is world-class. Thanks again, Paul.

I sent my HGS-15 plate amp in for repair, it was making a pop/crack distortion on lower bass notes at low to mid volume. I connected it to a completely different system to rule out and verify it was the sub. I took detailed pictures of boards before sending out. Paul tested it and could not find a problem. I know that puts a technician in a tough spot. I authorized any questionable el caps to be replaced, along with overheated regulators. I kept my fingers crossed this was the issue, and not the woofer (it would have been another 175 plus shipping if that was the case). It took a bit longer to receive the amp back than I anticipated, but as you can see they are very busy! I installed amp, and am happy to report the problem is gone. A bit confused though, the only mods to boards I could see were the regulators. All the visible caps are the same as when sent out. However, I did not open the shielded section. I assume some were replaced in there. Overall very pleased!

I sent in 2 ADCOM CD players, a GCD 700 and a GCD 750. Both units had multiple issues that nearly had me scrap the units. So glad I didn't! After a last ditch google search, I found EBC. I sent a quick email, received a fast and confidant reply that the units could be repaired, so, I sent them in. After several weeks, I received a status update that the repairs were complete. Used the provided link, paid a very fair fee for the amount of work that was done and received my units back in a couple of days. Both units play beautifully!! The disc changer (GCD 700) doesn't miss a track or disc, sounds great and performs as new. The GCD 750 is my favorite CD player which had all sorts of crazy issues, even had a previous repair job botch it up and change the original LED backlight to an ugly blue/white. I was thrilled to get this player back also sounding like brand new (Yay!!) but they were even able to replace the backlight to the original Adcom warm amber color. Overall; an extraordinary repair job! Very pleased and will be sending more gear down. I highly recommend EBC Electronics!!

At first I was skeptical sending in my Velodyne DD12 Sub (amplifier) to someone out of state. I first looked for local and in state repair but found none. One wouldn't think after purchasing updatable audio equipment that some of these manufacturers would leave us high and dry and be stuck with a piece of equipment they no longer support and we could no longer use. After contacting EBC Electronics and reading reviews, I decided to take the chance verses staring disgustingly in the corner at my non functioning sub like I had been for nearly a year. I shipped my sub amplifier to EBC from Florida on 5/21/18 and was received on 5/24/18. On 6/7/18 I received an email that the work was completed and to finalize payment for return shipping. I received my unit on 6/13/18 and reassembled my sub. The next day I tested it out with various sources and it performed as it should. Very quick and professional service. Thank you Paul

Wow! I am blown away! After having one of my Velodyne HGS18 subwoofers go down with the dreaded popping sound. I was told that it could not be repaired anymore due to its age. Sent my distorting HGS 15 Sub amp in from Australia. After thorough testing revealed several issues Paul was able to get it working beautifully again at a fraction of the cost (even with International Postage) compared to a new replacement from Velodyne (who strangely don't even attempt repairs) Paul kept in regular contact and packed my plate amp beautifully. I sent the amplifier section of my Sunfire HRS-8 To EBC Electronics for repair after being referred to them by the manufacturer. I followed the instruction for shipment to EBC provided on their web site, and ordered repair of the unit and upgrade of the capacitors. I received the repaired unit the other day, re-installed it, and I am very happy with the result. The unit now sounds fine and should be OK for a long time to come. EBC performed the service as described and in a timely manner. I am happy with the result and would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

My pre-amp was promptly repaired and returned in its original cosmetic condition. All the work done on it was described, and its cost was as initially estimated (before it was even sent to them). Very Pleased! I just recently received back my Bob Carver Sunfire True Subwoofer Mk II from being serviced by Paul at EBC. I have had this subwoofer for many years and have loved it' performance that defies it's appearance and size. I was disappointed as over the last few years it began to develop problems. It would hum at 60hz when at idle, it would turn on and off with a loud "thump" and it would frequently turn off during quiet passages of music. This was frustrating and I was concerned that I would not be able to get it repaired and was not confident to do it myself due to the unique architecture of the Bob Carver amplifier. I choose to go with EBC because I felt their pricing was fair, they had excellent customer feedback from other customers and a reputation of fast turnaround times. Well, I experience all of these. I receive my repaired unit back in exactly 7 days (Friday-Friday). It has performed flawlessly since firing it back up and I am now aware of all the performance I had lost over the years as the capacitors in this unit deteriorated. It's like having a new True Subwoofer. I will continue to take care of the drivers, regularly treating them with nourishing/protectant and playing it at "reasonable" levels. ;) Thanks for the great work and I will happily refer anyone else I meet looking to have their Sunfire True brought back to life. I find myself now scanning the classifieds for "dead" Sunfires that I could scoop up on the cheap and have rebuilt...

Paul and EBC are the real deal. I had two 15" Velodyne subs with different issues and was being told by Velodyne and all of their service centers that they were no longer servicing my subs. I couldn't believe that I was being told that both of my speakers were now really heavy boat anchors. I found Paul on the internet as one of the last options for getting them fixed and I was skeptical to say the least; however I would like to convey to you that you are in great hands with Paul and EBC. Excellent communication, fast service, fast and careful shipping, high-quality work -- very highly recommended! My 2005 European Velodyne DD-10 stopped working after my move to the US (spent 8 weeks in a seagoing container, so who knows what happened), but Paul got it fixed in no time and also converted it to 110V service as a bonus. I just got it back and put it through its paces -- system and room equalization (11.2 home theater system) followed by listening on both movies and music -- works just fine, sounds great.

My Velodyne DD-15 Subwoofer sounds as good as new. Velodyne refused to help. EBC did a great job in under a week. Highly recommended.

When my Sunfire HRS8 sub developed a fault, I tried to get it fixed in UK, but no one would take it on, as these are out of production and spares are hard to come by. I found EBC Electronics in the USA, and they not only repaired the amp, but also upgraded the capacitors. They sent it back very securely packed, and it is now working better than when new. So EBC and Paul get my vote as best repair organisation. They really know what they are doing, keep you well informed throughout the process, and their charges are reasonable. Paul you are on the Mount Rushmore of repair services. I have had my Krell FPB 300 for four days and have been conducting critical listening hour after hour using all types of music. The unit is better than when new twenty years ago. It is still the great amp it was, but better. I've had an early model Carver C-4000 pre amp for over 30 years. It never sounded great and was always causing problems; mainly channel drop-out and collapsing sound stage. I dropped over a grand in that time period having it serviced here and there, even sending it to Carver Repairs in Everett, Wa. Results were always the same. It would work for a while with a small sound stage, then maybe 6 months later there would be other problems. Recently Paul worked his magic. Now, an incredible sound and sound stage! It never sounded nearly this good. I've never heard better. Been using it many hours a day for the past 5 months with no problems. Cost? Nominal. A super bargain!

Having enjoyed the awesome bass produced from my Sunfire True Subwoofer MKII for many years I thought it had now become nothing more than a 50lb paperweight due to parts of the circuit board getting fried. I came across EBC Electronics website, saw that they have repaired many Sunfire Subwoofers, and decided that $175 was a small price to pay if I could get my sub back. The process is easy and painless, and after only a week I received my sub back yesterday. I'm thrilled to say that it's back from the dead and once again disturbing the neighbors - watched the Avengers last night and was quickly reminded how much I love that sub. Thanks Paul! If you think a beloved piece of your AV equipment is broken and unfixable, I'd strongly advise you to first contact Paul before heading out and spending a whole lot more on a replacement.

My Carver Signature Subwoofer failed after many years of service. I understand it is a very early version of that sub. I phoned the store where I bought it and was told there was no way to have it repaired since parts were no longer available. After much searching I came across EBCElectronics who were advertising flat rate repairs on that model. I was doubtful at first but after a recommendation from a very reliable source I went ahead with the repair order. The repair was done in a very professional manor. After a quick and simple fix of a ground loop that occurred when I plugged it in, the sub has been shaking the house again just like new. Excellent service Paul !

you did with my VSX 55 TX what nobody, including Pioneer itself , according to them and the authorized services cant do, they told me that I have to trash my receiver, you fixed for a couple of hundred dollar's, And I have to say, I know a lot about other's amp, and with the exception of the HDMI, using components, if you are not an ingenieer from Lucas Film. For the normal people using component conneccion and fiber optic for sound, the vsx with it 1200 wats and all the option to listen sound, still one of the best systems today after 12 years, thanks Paul. I have my VSX 55 TX connected to a 7 very big B&W and 2 SubWoofers, with that kind of Power, it is the sound incredible. Thank you again.

I was referred to EBS by Sunfire as my Mark IV was so old, they don't fix them anymore. The repair took much longer than I expected, but was definitely worth the wait. I bought this broken sub from a friend and had never heard it before Paul fixed it. Let's just say this: I can get rid of all the other subs in my man-cave. This thing is way louder, and that's with the volume turned down to "1". AWESOME SUB! And Paul did a great job repairing it, including globbing some silicone around certain caps that must be known for vibrating loose. Thanks Paul!!

I picked up my Krell amp last week(5/6/17)and told Paul I would post a feedback in a week so here I am. First of all I was glad to meet Paul and his wife. They are really nice people. My wife came along when I dropped the amp off. She instantly became friends with Paul's wife. I could hear them chatting non-stop in the next room. Paul seems to be more on the quiet and reserved side. That seems quite understandable when you take in the full scope of the business he is in. This was the first time I sent my amp to a private repair shop so I naturally had some reservations. Meeting Paul in person took care of that. He was very professional from the very beginning. He immediately put all my information in the computer and printed out and handed me a work order receipt. I was able to bring up my repair status as soon as I got home. He said it would take about a week to get around to my amp due to the backlog of other equipment he was working on. After about a week there was an update on the repair status that the amp had been diagnosed and payment was due. After payment was made, there was an update that verified payment was made and parts had been ordered. Some time after that another status update said that additional parts had to be ordered. My thoughts were that this was going to require additional money. There were no additional charges. Finally the day came to pick up the amp. When I got there, Paul had the amp hooked up in his living room so that I could witness that it was working. We chatted about the amp, factory workmanship and the difficulties encountered when trying to get parts. The amp sounds better than it has in long time. The main repair issue was the breaker tripping when powering up. But there was also a left channel bias problem along a humming noise. Paul repaired all this. My turn-around time took longer than four weeks due to the difficulty in acquiring the necessary parts. My biggest fear was that he wouldn't be able to fix my amp. Paul came through. My main point here is that if it's taking longer than expected to repair your equipment, just be patient because Paul is doing his best. EBC Electronics is truly a great place to have your equipment repaired. I am looking forward to doing business with Paul again. Thank you Paul, Frank

If it's electronic and needs fixing, Paul is a genius. My Velodyne CT-150 is back up and running after I thought it would never live again. MANY thanks to Paul for his expertise, never cutting corners with cheap parts, and always ensuring his work is of premium quality. Received my REL Sub Amp back today is a very short time and working perfectly. A mere 11 day turnaround! Not to mention I shipped UPS on a Saturday, then we had a big Tuesday snow storm and UPS fell 2 days behind on delivery. Communication was great as you always know at what stage your at. I also wanted to mention the excellent repacking Job that included some wood on the top and bottom of the plate amp to ensure the components we fully protected on the return shipment. A better box them I sent it in was used for the return and very well air bag protected.

My 10 year old Velodyne DD10 stopped working and I contacted EBC to see if they could repair it. I tried to remove the amplifier from the sub but some of the screws would not come loose and I ended up shipping the whole sub. Paul repaired the preamplifier board and had it back to me in about a 10 days. It has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend EBC. They saved me a lot of money by extending the life of my sub.

The Sunfire amps in my AR1s had not worked for years. I tried to get them repaired twice before, once by a local shop and once sending them out. Neither shop could repair them, so I just used the AR1s for the high and the mids and used a small Polk subwoofer for the lows. They were just OK. One day, I decided to comb the internet and find someone who could do the job. I found the EBC web site and read the huge number of glowing reviews. Everyone could not be wrong, right? I decided to take a chance, packed up the amps and sent them off. Well, I just got back both of my Sunfire amps from EBC and installed them into the AR1s yesterday (1-14-17). OMG! The 15inch subs in each cabinet are literally shaking the foundation of my house and waking the dead once again! Thanks EBC for bringing these monsters back to life.

EBC saved a prized component! I've owned a Sunfire True Subwoofer MkII since the product was launched in ~1998. It is an amazingly powerful SW, however over the years it developed a slight hum (not a ground loop issue) and recently went into earthquake mode even with no source attached. I contacted Sunfire/Bob Carver tech support who no longer service this older model and they recommended EBC as the best option. They were 100% right! I shipped the backboard to EBC and a short time later it was returned. Tested with no source - clean. Tested in it's normal setting: Denon 5805 music, movies and Fios TV - I think it sounds as good as it ever did! Super job and quality! Thank you EBC!

The feedbacks on here are mostly for solid state equipments, so I wasn't so sure about dropping off my tube pre-amp. Paul did a great job getting mine back to working order. A very happy customer. Chris

Couldn't be happier with the results! My Velodyne HGS12's Plate Amplifier needed repairs. Veldoyne was of absolutely no help - customer service is non- existent - never answering e-mails or a phone message. Before finding Paul at EBC, had contacted another repair service and was told "sometimes we can fix things and sometimes we can't." Well, Paul came through. My subwoofer is working perfectly. I asked Velodyne about repair on my speaker and they replied they don't support the model any longer. I brought it to a local repair shop spent $25.00 to have them say they couldn't fix it. The unit performs flawlessly and it sounds better than before (perhaps there was something wrong with it before It finally gave up) but he managed to correct all the issues that were wrong with it. Paul communicated well. My power plate was not able to be repaired. When the item was returned I could see that it appeared a surface mount resistor had been inspected (coating removed) and possibly replaced as part of the troubleshooting process. When i sent the power plate I knew that this component was probably faulty. I'd do business with EBC again in the future.

I am very pleased with the repair of my dead Marantz SR18. This is the best receiver I have ever had the good fortune to own & enjoy over the years, and when one of the six amplifier sections smoked some components triggering a complete shutdown of the amplifier section I figured I was in for a very expensive diagnosis & repair bill. Upon exploring the internet for Marantz repair facilities I discovered EBC and decided to take a chance & sent the unit to Paul after reading his "common SR18 failure modes" on his web page. Sure enough that's what the problem was and he has repaired it in good order. The SR18 is back in service and operating perfectly. I sent my Adcom amplifier in for repair due to a channel cutting out after playing. EBC had my unit for one month and could not duplicate the problem. They resoldered some joints and replaced the power swich before returning the unit. Upon playing the unit, it performs exactly the same as it did before I sent it to EBC for repair. This was a waste of both time and money. === EBC answer: The amp is ok. The sound cutting problem can be caused by another audio component. Usually GTP units cause that. ===

I have to admit when I was researching a place to send my Krell integrated amp for repair I was reluctant because I couldn't find any reviews on the internet of EBC Electronics and on top of that I goggled map where I'm sending it and noticed it wasn't your typical storefront, but with not many options other than sending it back to Krell who quoted me almost 2X the cost I decided to take a shot and had it shipped to EBC electronics. It turned out great, repair even though it took a while to pin down the intermittent problem, Paul kept me updated and was able to finally repair it. Wouldn't hesitate in the future. My Velodyne HGS-18 went to being a flutterbox. I ALMOST sent it to Velodyne INC. for them to charge me twice what Paul at EBC did and he did way better than they would have. I feel certain about that. SO glad I found EBC. Several emails to Paul were handled very promptly. So I sent the Plate Amp to EBC to get better discrete quality components for its repair than what I feel Velodyne INC would have done for twice the price. The reason I feel this way is when I saw the cheapass 12 gauge speaker wire connecting the Plate Amp to the Driver was all oxidized green copper. Shame on Velodyne INC. I replaced that cheap 12 AWG with 3 feet of quality Oxygen-free 10 AWG from http://www.knukonceptz.com/home-theater/speaker-wire/kl3-kable/. After EBC repaired my Plate Amp, my HGS-18 is now MUSICAL again. It rings like a bell, I can feel it kick. Its wonderful and tight again... better than new I think. Paul repaired my Denon AVR-2106 AND my M&K subwoofer. The Denon is 10 years old and the sub is almost 30 years old. Replacement components with similar specs would run about $1600. Both are now working fine for a fraction of that cost.

I had such a great experience with this company! They repaired my Sunfire sub woofer that had not worked for 3 years. After running the sub hard for 6 hours I blew a fuse. Contacted them and they emailed a RMA. They repaired what needed repairing and ran a stress test for a couple of days to make sure the repair was complete. I sent an almost 40 year old Pioneer SA-9500II integrated amp in for diagnosis & service. EBC went through the entire unit and replaced ALL electrolytic capacitors, cleaned all controls & contacts and did an LED power light mod at a very reasonable cost. I have been using it for the past week with no issues, nor do I expect any as the amp works and sounds like new. Many thanks for bringing my aging Velodyne CT120 back to life. You answered my pre-sale questions and turned around the power supply repair and replacement of all the electrolytic caps in a couple of days. I've had it back for about a month and couldn't be happier. Discovered your services in a comment on an AVS Forums thread when I was trying to diagnose my sub's problem.

Paul did a very nice job of repairing my VERY modified Adcom GFA 555MKII. The left distortion light was staying fully lit. Paul upgraded the damaged section of the amp on both channels to increase reliability. In addition he installed a soft-start circuit at my request to limit the overwhelming inrush current caused by the 2kVA feeding the 100,000uf caps in the upgraded power supply =). I also had him upgrade the binding posts. He answered my questions from beginning to end (I asked a lot of questions). In the end I am obviously pleased and my amp sounds better than I remember.

I was very pleased to be able to have my awesome Velodyne subwoofer repaired for a fraction of the cost of other repair options! KEF PSW2500 Subwoofer Repair : The amplifier makes a buzzing sound, sometimes the speaker works perfect and sometimes the buzzing starts. Like some others online I left the power button on for about 5 years.I believed the capacitor was the issue. This is the message I sent EBC Electronics . I have an Adcom GFA-555 II Power amp. This is a GREAT amp and I am not really interested in something different. Right Channel went dead and the thermal protection light was always on. Found EBC through Googling (not easy to find people to work on Adcom). Took more time to ship each way than to repair; they were that prompt about doing the repair. Just got it back and put it in-line. Works like new. Actual price to fix very reasonable. Shipping (2 ways) adds a bit because of the weight of the unit, insurance, etc. Final total cost was not quite 1/2 of what a "new" (used) one would cost on e-Bay so still worth it. Definitely would recommend EBC.

I have a sunfire tseqs12 subwoofer that has developed a loud humm/buzzing noise. I called sunfire and the told me that parts are not available and that they could not service it. I would have to field destroy it! I called paul and he said he could fix it no problem. It was fixed and shipped back to me in 2 days. It is again working perfectly.

EBC has repaired my Adcom GTP 870HD Preamp Processor before so I was familiar with their excellent work. I sent off my Adcom GFA 585 Ltd Edition amplifier for a full restoration and IEC cord conversion. Turnaround time was as quoted and the amplifier is back at full performance and sounds amazing. If any of my other Adcom amps (555s, 565s and 535s) need service they also will go to EBC.

When my GFA-5500 started squealing and popping in one channel I decided to look for a service center instead of shot-gunning parts. Several Home Theater & audio forums led me to EBC and based on high praise there I was convinced that my Adcom amplifier would be in capable hands. To my surprize the process from start to finish was easy, quick and professional. Communications with Paul were instantaneous, status updates were detailed, but most importantly my 16 year old amplifer returned home in like new condition. It was even packaged a bit better than when I originally shipped it. Gone was the original issue that I sent it in for and that slight "hiss" you sometimes hear when you put your ear to the tweeter was completely inaudible. 2 Adcom GFA 565 monoblocks, 1 GFP 565 Preamp. I just received Pauls frshly overhauled equipment. Actually through no fault of Paul's FedEx took it 2 streets away and left it at my fortunately honest neighbors front stoop. Imagine my horor when the FedEx tracker said delivered, and when my sister went up front to drag them in, there was nothing there! Well back to the gear....I am just so incredibly impressed with the work. yes it costs a fortune to ship 3 crates weighing over 100 pounds, but in the long run it has to be right every time you turn it on. The cost of shipping went away the moment I eased the volume knob clockwise. Admittedly I made a grave mistake when buying these and shorted the speaker outputs when checking for vDC. We decided to find an original donor to replace the 10 transistor board I fried.....all at a minimal cost of $50! At my non purist request, I believe I now own the only 565 amps with blue led power lamps! (thanks for that favor Paul!) My Bob Crites tweaked Klipsch Chorus speakers are saying WTH????? Granted I havent had time to let all the components burn in together, but so far the CD, Tuner, and iPhone run through the aux sound terrific. All questions answered, all emails replied to with detailed discussion. I do a lot of my own repairs on Marantz gear, but this being my first Adcom gear, I wanted to let THE guru use his expertise and knowledge to make this gear dead on spec. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to ship a grand or more of gear off to Paul at EBC electronics. He says turn time is about a week, and he means it. I haven't seen anyone even close on price either. People who like what they do for a living tend to be very good at it.....I think Paul loves audio repair!!

WOW! I certainly made the right decision by choosing EBC Electronics/Paul to repair my McIntosh 2105. I purchased the 2105 used on ebay and it was supposedly "working". Of course once it arrived at my house and I tested it out, one of the output channels wasn't getting any signal and the headphone output seemed to be reversing the right and left signals. I was worried that I just purchased a heavy piece of junk... So I called and emailed several repair companies in my area. Paul was the FIRST to get back to me, had by far THE BEST PRICE and a ONE DAY TURNAROUND!!! I live locally, so I was able to drop it off and pick it up, but Paul even carried it to and from my car for me. All the other companies I contacted were at minimum a 5 week turnaround and double the price. Thanks to Paul and his marvelously quick and super professional service and repair, I am now enjoying the blissful McIntosh sound in my home recording studio and I couldn't be happier. EBC Electronics is the best place for TV repair! I have a plasma 42" Phillips TV and I was having a hard time to start it every day only the first time in the morning after that it will work fine all day long.I sent my power supply board to EBC Electronics for repair and they did an excellent job. Paul is very good on keeping you inform of every step involved in the repair process. They have a quick turn around shipment and very good prices. I received my board back, installed it on my TV and now is working totally fine. Hopefully this TV will last for at least another 3 years. Thanks EBC.

After repairing my Adcom GCD-600 and a GTP-500II, I can say that EBC Electronics has simply the best customer service I've ever experienced at a repair shop. There were some added problems during the process that were in no way EBC's fault, but Paul went above and beyond the call of duty to make it right for me, even though he had no obligation to do so. EBC Electronics is a real class act, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Another case where a local electronics repair shop could not fix my GFA-565s. I have had them at 2 different shops for a total of 2-3 months & neither place came even close to fixing just 1 amp. EBC had both 565s repaired in less than 2 weeks & they sound great. The only regret I have is not sending them in sooner. The service is top notch & communication is excellent, emails are answered promptly & updates on the repair progress are sent as well. Don't waste your time trying to have your Adcom 565s repaired anywhere else, send them to EBC. Paul has worked on many of these amps & knows them inside & out. My thanks again to Paul & everyone at EBC.

Paul, thanks so much for your detail, honest work on my Adcom 565 monoblocks. They are both running cool, no pops and hiss when power on and off. The amps sound as new. I know now i can purchsse all the 565s on ebay, whether broken or working, ship them to EBC Electronics,and have them sounding as Adcom intended them to sound. If you want your adcom equipment to be restored, at least i can speak on behalf of the 565 monoblocks, you should not hesitate to send them to Paul. Highly recommended!!!!!

EBC offers a repair service which is "second to none". My DVD player was sent to Paul, repaired, and sent back within a two week window, which included a delay in shipping by UPS due to a Nor'Easter, which dumped over a foot of snow on New England. Their e-mail communication was great. Their price was fair. They keep major parts in stock. I have had other local repair shops take months to repair units, citing that they were waiting for parts. First Class Service!!!! I sent my unit in for a specific problem and the problem was found and repaired. While testing my unit Paul found a second problem that I did not report. He not only repaired both problems but did not charge me any more to repair the second problem. This is a first class repair center and when they say flat rate repair they mean it. EBC does all repairs to the component level and has far more product knowledge than your standard repair shop. I feel very lucky that I found EBC Electronics and will use them for all future repair needs and will recommend them to all of my friends.

I had both GFA 565s, modified with premium gold binding posts (total of 8), and iec plug connectors. This allows me to use upgradeable power cords. The work is superb and it really looks like it came from the ADCOM factory. Great soldering and shrink wrapping is an understatement for the work received on these units. I highly recommend EBC.

I had my Adcom GTP 600 repaired due to age, and had it modified with an iec connector. The unit is really bringing out the small details in my music. It sounds smoother and the vocals are spacious! Highly recommended, and upgraded power cords are awesome to use on vintage ADCOM gear, or any gear, shielded power cords lower the noise floor! Get it Done!

I use several Adcom 565's in two tri-amped systems, and Paul has rebuilt all of them for me. They all need it due to the age of these otherwise fine amps. After the rebuild it is the best amp value I know of and I recommend it highly, along with Paul's fine service. Five stars!

The amp returned boxed very well and in good shape. I've been using it over the weekend and I am very impressed with the sound. You eliminated the irritating hum and I haven't heard the "whine". Obviously, the burned-up channel now sounds as good as the right channel. My first impressions are that you did excellent work. I'll let you know if there is any issue at all. Thanks very much. I got the preamp, tested it, and everything seems to work fine now. The hum is gone, and I have good signal strength on all of my usual FM stations.
By the way, I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the service that you provide. I got step-by-step instructions and progress reports from you by email all the way through the process. With most companies nowadays, customer service is almost non-existent, so EBC Electronics really stands above the crowd.

I installed the amp this afternoon. No turn on/ turn off speaker destroying "THUMPS."
No static - I held my breath, selected an input, and slowly raised the volume on the preamp. As the room filled with music instead of angry static and noise, I thought, "THANK YOU PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
