How to Remove Sunfire plate amplifier
Warning
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH COULD RESULT FROM THE IMPROPER

ALL WORKS MUST ONLY BE DONE BY AN QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
1. Unplug main power cord and wait at least 2 hours before proceed with the future steps.
Main filter capacitors inside the unit can hold high voltage long time especialy for bad unit.
Do not touch any components inside the unit to avoid electrical shock.
Your work space should be free of any small metal objects or metal dust. There is huge magnet inside the cabinet, small objects can get inside and damage the woofer or cause distortion.

2. Remove all circled fixation screws from the back plate, as indicated in figure. There are 12 screws.
3. Gently pull back plate. If there is a gasket between the plate and cabinet- be carefull to not damage the gasket.
4. Remember position and then disconnect black and red wires from the driver.
5. Insulate driver wires with electrical tape or masking tape.
Packing
Obviously PC boards are relatively fragile, and poor packing can result in a board that is damaged beyond repair.
To properly pack the board, wrap it board in three layers of the large bubble wrap and place into a box.
When the board is packed in 3 layers of the big bubble wrap stuff, it is well protected from shocks and bumps. Put the packaged board into a snug fitting box, or use more bubble wrap to fill the box so the boards do not bang around in transit.
